Unless we limit our desires from within by adopting an attitude of not needing anything at all, then even mastery over a thousand worlds will bring no real satisfaction.

His Eminence Shyalpa Tenzin Rinpoche will give teachings on the practice of devotion in the lineage of Dzogchen, the Great Perfection. When there is trust in the teacher as the embodiment of the awakened state, one can harness the energy and blessings of devotion to reveal one’s own awakened heart.

His Eminence will give commentary on A Song of Devotion for Longchenpa, and also draw from experience with many of his own teachers, including his root teacher, H.H. Chatrul Rinpoche.

“The teacher’s compassion has no limit or boundary. Realize that the compassionate teacher is in the center of your heart. Know that you are always blessed in this way.”

-- Shyalpa Tenzin Rinpoche
